Size:
You can make it as big as you want.
The sample is 160cm (or 5ft 3inches) wide.

Materials:
though you can use any kind of yarn for this scarf, remember that thicker yarn you use bulkier the scarf will turn out.
For the sample I used or sport weight yarn, approx. 250gr or 875 yards.
crochet hook 3.5mm or size needed to obtain gauge (if you use thicker yarn, use bigger hook as well).

Gauge:
9dc and 4 rows = 2 in (5cm)
