Which boy would find a firefighter boring? I designed this hat for my son who wanted something exciting rather than those plain hats, which he found boring. He said all of his friends loved it. I have written the pattern for 3 sizes. The pattern requires little skill. You have to know how to work around posts but I have included plenty of photos describing the technique. The pattern is written in US terms.

Gauge:

7 dc = 2 inches

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • The pattern is available in 3 sizes - baby (14-17" circumference), child (16-20" circumference) and adult (18 to 21" circumference)

Materials:

  • Worsted weight yarn

You Will Also Need:

  • 5 mm/H crochet hook, tapestry needle
