Pattern Description:

Add a touch of color to the essential little black dress for a cool summer evening. The triangle-shaped shawl is assembled using the connect-as-you-go technique.

If you love working with thread, this is a great project for the intermediate crocheter. Charts are provided to create the three different sizes.

This pattern is written in U.S. terms.


Working in pattern:
Hexagon Motif =
3-1/4" from side to side or
3-3/4" from point to point

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Three different sizes are available: 58-1/2 wide x 17-3/4 long, 70 wide x 21 long, and 81-1/2 wide x 24-1/4 long.


  • Crochet cotton, size 10, in 350 yd. (320 m) balls - 3-5 balls of Blue-Green
  • Size 7 (1.65 mm) steel crochet hook
