In my book Blueprint Crochet: Modern Designs for the Visual Crocheter (Interweave Press, 2008), I used my engineering background and crochet symbols to bring crochet to new learners. Robyn?s latest book, Unexpected Afghans, from Interweave Press 2012, shows how to use classic crochet techniques for astoundingly innovative afghans. She is incredibly thankful to be able to design and write from home in Pittsburgh, PA while playing with her little ?office assistants?. She is also the author of Baby Blueprint Crochet, Simply Crochet, and Crochet Stitches Visual Encyclopedia (Wiley 2011).
