This is a PDF pattern for a really fun textured beanie. This hat looks great in any color and I especially think it works well with variegated yarns. The pattern comes with two options for the loops that hold the ribbons. I would not rate this a beginner pattern, but if you have a little bit of experience it is pretty easy. The pattern uses single crochet, double crochet, reverse single crochet, and front post treble crochet stitches. I do provide some video links for some of the more difficult stitches, and also for the magic ring.
13 stitches and approximately 6 rows in double crochet = 4" x 4" (10 cm x 10 cm)
Both my grandmothers taught me how to crochet when I was a child. In the fall of 2010, I got involved with crocheting again and it has quickly become a passion. I love creating patterns!
