Basic Skills Necessary:

  • Stitches used: Chain (ch); Double crochet (dc), Front Post double crochet (FPdc); Front Post Treble (FPtr); Back Post double crochet (BPdc).
  • Previous experience of working cables, post and crossed stitches necessary. Stitches worked under and over other stitches.

1 = 4 dc = 2 rows of dc (for the beginning part).

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Length 63 / 160 cm
  • Width 1.5 / 3 cm and 2.5/ 6 cm


  • Materials: Yarn weight: Worsted (Medium) 100 g = 230 m 1 skein
  • Crochet Hook: 9/I (5.5 mm) Inline style hooks are perfect for working cables (for example - Susan Bates hooks).

You Will Also Need:

  • Yarn needle for weaving in ends
