I absolutely loved this little open topped bunny hat i kept seeing in knit. But always in knit! I cant knit! So i came up with my own version of it in crochet! Its a very simple and easy to work design that is fast and fun. Easy to customize and create the cutest little bunnies around! This pattern size is newborn only.
Instructions include how to make this hat with a L/8 mm hook OR a H/5 mm hook and Optional detachable flower.
Gauge- 7 stitches equals 2", 4 rows = 2'

My entire life i have been creative. I flittered from different styles of art and music to crafting. My entire life i have been creative. I flittered from different styles of art and music to crafting. My mother was crafty as i grew up and taught me many different craft projects, from crocheting to beading to cross stitch. I didnt learn much beyond the basic stitches until pregnant with my third son. I picked up looming and was hooked on yarn. With looming i felt limited, eventually i went back to crochet. And realized i had been doing it wrong all along! I learned the basic stitches, then went for the advanced stitches and within a year i was easily working through expert level patterns.
I prefer to add fun stitches in odd places to make a pattern fun. I like them to be hearty thick and warm for the winters up here in Alaska. I like my kids items to be classical with a touch of something new.
I have four boys, while i love designing things for girls and am very feminine myself. Ive found a distinct lack of cute boy things. I love coming up with fun things for my boys. Its getting those things into patterns that is hard!
I hope you enjoy my designs. Im just starting getting them all to paper. I know i love writing them!
