This little hat is adorable, and would make a great baby gift! It is super easy to make (and yes the antannae do stand up on their own!) It's a fairly quick project, great for someone who is interested in learning how to do stripes.
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- 0-3 months: 14 inch circumference, height 3 inches
- 3-6 months: 15.5 inch circumference, height 3.75 inches
- 6-12 months: 17 inch circumference, height 4 inches
- Toddler - Small Child: 18.5 inch circumference, height 4.5 inches
- Older Child - Small Teen: 20 inch circumference, height 4.75 inches
- Large Teen - Adult: 21.5 inch circumference, height 5.25 inches
Materials:
- 5.5mm hook
- 3.5mm hook
- Moderate amount of worsted weight yarn in black and yellow
- Yarn needle
- If using buttons for eyes: Sewing needle, black thread, appropriate sized black buttons
