Pattern Description:

I first saw a knit balaclava that had a beard on it about 4 years ago. I just had to have it... but I didn't have the 70 bucks to shell out to buy it. I was teaching myself crochet at the time, and after a few hours of messing around, I made a really awful bearded cap with a crooked mustache. Since then, I have refined and perfected my crochet skills, as well as the pattern, into this lovely and ridiculous monster - The Beardling.

I would like to share this hairy creation with the world of crocheters because it really is a blast to make them, and they bring a smile to anyone's face that sees this bushy beard. And let's face it, we all need to smile and laugh more! So what are you waiting for, get those hooks out and crochet on! :)
