Pattern Description:

This is my second barefoot sandal pattern inspired by an actual mehndi design, also known as henna tattoo art. The design is worked in 13 rounds with a toe and ankle strap incorporated into the last round. A twist in both straps is worked as it is crocheted to allow it to lay flat when crisscrossed and worn. Designed to fit most women's feet. Basanti is a girl's name meaning "Season of Spring".
