Basic Skills Necessary:

  • ch = chain
  • dc = double crochet (sc in US terms)
  • htr = half treble crochet (hdc in US terms)
  • sl st = slip stitch

Pattern Description:

Make your own Dribble/Drool Bib!

Very easy pattern that guides you through to make your very own dribble bib for a baby. Ideal to make for your own children or as a quick and useful gift. Unisex pattern for baby boy or girl.

With plenty of photos!

You could use any wool, but I would recommend 4ply or dk and also wool that isn't too fluffy or hairy. Please use the correct size hook for your wool type.

Special stitches (photo tutorial at the end of the pattern);
htr2tog = half treble crochet 2 together (hdc2tog in US terms)

This pattern is written in English terms.



  • Approx 20g of 100% cotton DK yarn, 3.5mm hook, 1 button, needle and thread.

Preferred Brand/Yarn:

Muskat 100% cotton
