Those who have tried my designs will know that I love creating simple designs that look very effective, after all life doesn't need to be complicated! And I understand that many people like a bit of television or music knitting/crochet, so the easier they are the better it is to enjoy the world around you whilst enjoying your craft.

Continuing my drive to design one crochet scarf a month.
The April weather is unpredictable here in the UK. So although I wanted to use a 4 ply yarn for this month's design, I decided it still had to be warm enough for the cold spells of weather. So I combined my favourite 'diamonds' with a shell pattern to give more density to the fabric of the scarf. I was quite pleased with the combination of stitches, I hope you like them too.
As made to the pattern the scarf measures 161/2cm (61/2") wide by 170cm (67") long when blocked.
The pattern is written in English and US crochet terms, and is charted.
