Pattern Description:

I love the ease and style of cowls and being that March is National Crochet Month decided to design one.

This cowl is a great way to use up scrap yarns from your stash. The bottom edge made in the thicker DK weight yarn helps anchor the cowl. The Fingering weight yarn adds a nice lacy mesh fabric to the top of the cowl.

Gauge:

4 stitches and 1 row = 1 inch in single crochet

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

  • Finished cowl measures 24" around and 7" in height

Materials:

  • Crochet Hook Size I9 / 5.50 MM
  • 100 yards of DK weight and Fingering weight yarns combined

Suggested yarn:

100 yards of DK weight
