I love the ease and style of cowls and being that March is National Crochet Month decided to design one.
This cowl is a great way to use up scrap yarns from your stash. The bottom edge made in the thicker DK weight yarn helps anchor the cowl. The Fingering weight yarn adds a nice lacy mesh fabric to the top of the cowl.
4 stitches and 1 row = 1 inch in single crochet
100 yards of DK weight

I've been knitting and crocheting for about 25 years now and learned these crafts as a small child from my grandmother. My hands haven't been idle since. In addition to designing knitting and crochet patterns I run the Etsy shop MelsBellsHats.
