Pattern Description:

Warm Laced-up Winter-Boots.
This listing is for the crochet pattern basic boots, no in- or outer soles. See info below for the optional cord-soles applied!

Tough and solid cabin style. Good for a Nordic winter, or just a drafty old house (like mine)!

Created to match my Winter White Coat (http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/crocheting/clothing/white-winter-crochet-coatcardigan/39415), and the Aran Cabled Socks: (http://www.craftsy.com/pattern/crocheting/accessory/aran-cabled-crochet-long-socks/65396).
See pics.

Looks knitted, feels felted; Warm and chunky, designed with room for insoles and socks. Easy to pull on and off with the lace-closure, which also prevent the boots from slipping off the feet, walking them.
The boots are worked in 2 pieces; Toe- sole- and boot-leg-section, worked in one piece, and the tongue, attached as last.

They are of course for indoor use only. But as for all my crochet slippers, also this pair is applied soles!

ADDITIONAL FOR YOUR NEW SLIPPERS
See image on this page.

These boots have my Cord-Soles applied. Protect your new home-boots against wear and tear, and turn them into street-boots if you like! Your slippers will last for years.
Inserting your own handmade insoles, will add extra comfort and softness to your slippers. It looks nice, and keeps the slippers in shape. With insoles and out-soles, the boots are just wonderful to walk and wear! So warm and comfy!
I have applied the special finishing sole-treatment, the boots are ready for street-wear!

See my store, or read more about the additional Cord-Sole-Tutorial for all above:
