Pattern Description:
Crochet a fun pocket scarf and keep your hands warm! Choose your favorite bear - a Panda, Polar or Brown bear.
This pattern includes instructions to complete all three. Instructions included for youth, adult and custom size scarves.
Gauge:
3 stitches and 6 rows = 2"
Sizing / Finished Measurements:
- Scarf measures 50" (1.4 m) long and 5" (12.7 cm) wide. Fits school-aged children. Instructions include adjustments for adult or toddler sizes.
Materials:
- 5 oz (170g) of either black, white, or brown worsted weight yarn, depending on which bear you make.
- Scrap of black or brown worsted weight yarn for small nose
- Size J (6 mm) crochet hook
- Size I (5.5 mm) crochet hook
- Size H (5 mm crochet hook)
- 4 - 7/8" (22mm) buttons for Brown and Polar Bears
- 4 - 7/8" (13mm) black buttons for Panda Bear
- Scrap of black worsted weight yarn for Panda Bear's eye
You Will Also Need:
- Hand-sewing needle and matching thread for eyes.
- Yarn needle or other large-eyed needle
