You don't have to be a fan of the Civil War style here, the piecing method Kaye teaches is great! Not ironing until the block is finished saves time running back and forth to the iron and you get better results because the pieces aren't ironed out of shape during construction. I enjoyed watching her demos and her sense of humor. Thanks Kaye and Craftsy for this wonderful class.
Learned A Lot
This course gave me a lot of confidence to go ahead and whip up the Remember Me block. I love the cheater piece and needle down. These small details made all the difference for me. The one thing that confuses me is how much some quilters disapprove of not going to the iron until the end. If this method works, then why not.

Really enjoyed it!! Talking about history and sewing at the same time is a great platform.
I also learned about the cheater piece, and bias goes on bottom.
