Best Teacher Ever
on December 18, 2013
I've been taking weaving classes for about a year. I have learned more from this class than I have from my weaving classes. Janet is an excellent teacher. I have learned so many pointers to improve my weaving. I am certainly hoping that there are more weaving classes from Janet. I would love to learn how to double weave from Janet. Having classes for different yarns and techniques would be great. I am glad I purchased this class, worth every penny!
A great reference tool

I have had this class for a while now. It is my number reference source. I am a new weaver, so every time I warp the loom I have this video with me. As I dress the loom, I can either follow along with Janet, or check to make sure I am doing it correctly.
This class has such is extensive. I paid $150 for a class 10 years ago that covered about 10% of what is covered in this class. The price of this class is pennies compared to my local classes. Plus I get to play it again and ...
I'm not a new weaver, but took this class to see if I could pick up new tips or more efficient methods. There were some wonderful tips and time and energy saving methods. Well worth the $$. I did find the instructors dress and hair style to be a bit distracting. I wanted to reach into my monitor and brush her hair back, and I'd have preferred to see a bit less "chest". This is just my personal opinion and for most people I''m sure this would not be a drawback. Otherwise, Janet ...
I have been to some very pricey weaving classes in the past years but Janet's class exceeds them all. She knows just how to make the new weaver feel comfortable and.gives the seasoned weaver some new tricks that make the warping process a little less daunting and a little more fun. We weavers need more Crafty classes in weaving by Janet Dawson.
Janet is a lifesaver!

I hadn't really thought about weaving until a Wolf loom fell into my lap. I hadn't woven anything since the cotton loop potholders when I was child over 45 years ago!
I tried using books from the library, YouTube videos, and desperate emails with weaving friends to learn how to use this thing. Then I found Janet's video. Knowing how great the other Craftsy classes that I took had been, I signed up for Janet's class. Thank goodness I did, or this loom might have been kindling ...
