Really worth the money
I started a class about pattern drafting almost 1 year ago. My first project was a skirt of which I?m not especially proud. It?s an ok skirt, but it?s not exactly what it was meant to be, and now I feel some basic concepts were not explained during the class (or at least I was not aware of them). Because of that and because of my great behind I haven?t made any more skirts (dresses with circle skirts don?t count) until very recently.
After a lot of thinking I decided to join this ...
Awesome Teacher - Not Just for Beginners
I absolutely LOVE Deborah's teaching style and sense of humor - she is by far my favorite teacher (and I own several Craftsy courses)! I have been sewing for years, but never "outside the box" without a store-bought pattern - Deborah has not only inspired me to take action and get started, she is entertaining and downright FUNNY! She feels like an old friend. Let's hope she will be teaching another Craftsy class in the near future!!
My first skirt
Thanks to this course I was able to sew my first A-line skirt! Deborah is a great teacher and I'm going to sew many other skirts: with darts, with yoke, for summer, for winter, for me, for my friends... I'm so happy with this course that I cannot stop sewing!

What a great introduction to Craftsy!
This is the first course I signed up for, and I must say how impressed I was with it. Deborah is a terrific teacher and seems so comfortable on-camera. Her method for installing an invisible zipper makes it look so easy and I can't wait to try it. I am so looking forward to designing and making a well-fitting skirt that I splurged and bought some gorgeous eggplant-coloured linen for it. And I can't wait to post some project photos when it's done (I just need to find some free time ... maybe ...
