Love It
I tried tatting about 20 years ago and never got the hang of it. Now I tat every day. This class was wonderful. Marilee does a very good job of explaining and demonstrating the techniques. The lessons and corresponding projects are just the right size to learn each step, complete a small project without feeling overwhelmed. I would highly (and do) recommend this to anyone interested in tatting.

This is a gem of a class.
Tatting was/is on my bucket list. Mom tatted with flying fingers which discouraged me. I was six or seven years old at the time. However, I've not forgotten the tatting she worked on nor the expertise.
Fast forward 65 years from then and there appears an e-mail from Craftsy offering a tatting class. Well, . . . This 70 year-old gal enlisted because during Craftsy's classes I have the ability to have Marilee repeat the steps hundreds of times without her giving her a headache. ...

When I purchased the class, I had no idea there would be so much information! The instructor was very easy to understand and gave wonderful tips that only a seasoned tatter would know about that I really appreciated. VERY highly recommended class!
Fantastic class for beginners and beyond
Marilee covered many different stitches and techniques. I taught myself most of these techniques by reading tatting books and studying the hand positions. It took hours for me to learn the split ring and Marilee coveres it beautifully in a few mintues.
The best part is beginners and stop at any point and come back after practicing the projects. And they can return at any time for a refresher. Putting the Notes at various points was a tremendous help in returning to the point in ...
Excellent Introduction / Refresher Course
I learnt to tat 18 months ago but then along came a baby! I've always liked Marilee's patterns and HDT so it was a no brainier to get the Craftsy class when I saw it.
I haven't made any of the projects due to time constraints at the moment but I have picked up my shuttle again and I'm just starting to watch the video classes again and it's certainly helped to refresh my memory on techniques.
