Need more of these classes  May 15, 2012

Loved this class. It was plain english. After retirement I realized I had no idea how to sew and I had no starting point. This class gave me the knowledge to start on simple things and the courage to go forward and try harder things. But I am looking for a intermediate class. This instructor is my choice.

Great class for beginners and intermediate  May 15, 2012

Diana is an excellent instructor. She really takes her time explaining and doesn't take for granted that the student already knows things. She is also very quick to respond to individual questions. I have sewed off and on for years, but I kind of just muddled through and couldn't get that clean, professional look. Diana's class really helped me get there. She takes you through making a muslin and altering a pattern step-by-step. Both the pillows and the skirt I made were great successes. ...

The skirt is actually the first garment I have hand-sewn that I'm excited to wear, because it fits great and it looks almost store-bought (except cuter of course). Thanks Diana!

Such an excellent class for novice sewers. Diana is a great teacher and her tidy and fastidious techniques are a great way to learn. My pencil skirt is beautiful and fits perfectly and I get compliments on it whenever I wear it. Oh and I've made more than one and plan to make more!! I've sewn multiple garments since my first pencil skirt with Diana a month or two ago and I still find myself saying "pretty to pretty / Angelina Jolie to Brad Pitt". LOL. Thanks Diana!

Great course for a beginner... clear, concise and enjoyable  May 15, 2012

The cushions covered in the first part of this course are a great introduction to sewing and within a short space of time you will have the confidence and ability to whip hundreds up in no time. Diana has a really lovely way of teaching, very precise and clear and she has shown me things that I would have never understood from a book. I love that you can watch and re watch the tutorials. I have fitted a concealed zip, fitted a toile and have nearly finished my first skirt. Diana helped me ...

My First Craftsy Class  May 15, 2012

I have owned your book Sew Everything Workshop for ages. Thought there was an accompanying video thru one of the mailorder companies, but I could never seem to purchase and then along comes Craftsy and "Voila" Diana Rupp is in my sewing room ^-~ . I immediately made pillows with two mudcloth panels, but not saavy enough to get pics posted, But the neat thing is I can now be in the classroom whenever and as often as I like for hands on/one on one training. Maybe when I get the skirt made, I ...

A Great Refresher Course  May 14, 2012

I have been sewing for 55 years and already make many of my own clothes plus clothes for my family members. This was a great refresher course as I have recently begun to do some designing for myself and family members. Loved this course and also the instructor. Hope to see more courses from her soon.

Build confidence.  May 14, 2012

I really appreciated this course it everything i need to know as a beginner. My confidence is build everytime i look at the lessons cause she alway encourage to just do it. I had made about 3 pillows so far and each time i get better my next step is to do the skirt but realy scared, but because she encourage the muslim first i started to move toward making the skirt.

I didn't know how to sew before this class. Diana goes slow and explains things very well. The class has given me the confidence to try other patterns. I loved being able to watch the zipper section over and over and over.
