Great class for beginners
Even though I've been sewing for many years, I learned some new things from this course. It is excellent for beginners, since Diana is so thorough with her instructions.
For the skirt pattern, I didn't purchase the book, but used a pattern I had in my stash. It would have been nicer to have the pattern included in the course materials, as other courses offer.
I'm ordering Diana's book to keep on hand as a reference, & because she explains things so well, I'm sure I'll learn ...

I have been sewing for 40 yrs. Self taught. I have always wanted to take a good basic sewing class to improve my work. I Loved this class. Best thing since sliced bread. The video makes it clear how to do all the techiques. I go back and bookmark and restudy. I Love Dianna. Excellent teacher. Fun, easy to understand and very thorough. Great for the beginner sewer - me!
I enjoyed this class and the book! Both are very detailed step by step instructions with several useful tips. I've made the pillows so far and am anxious to try the skirt. I hope Diana teaches more classes here on Craftsy! In my Book, ( I don't really have one), she has great teaching skills! My wish list would be to learn to sew piped pillows along with the Girly Go-To Dress! PS: I always tell myself to make a "P" with the bobbin - that didn't sound very well, did it? well, you have to ...
