I absolutely loved your class. I'm new to sewing and I love everything about your class. I love the details and information that you give to each project. I loved everything about this class. The way, the pace, the clarity and absence of useless chattiness in which this lovely teacher teaches us, the fun projects, the reasonable background idea of upcycling in general. I took a lot of craftsy courses so far, but this is one of my favorites! I had some technical issues, too, But I would never give a low rating to a teacher in Craftsyland because of random technical issues, which come up because of my cr**** computer or a poor internet connection.
Clever!
Betz makes it so simple to reuse and re purpose that I was inspired to make something right away. I used an old cashmere sweater that I had in my closet and refashioned it into a great wrap cardi that I now love to wear.
It's a fun class and easy to watch and follow along. Thanks!
wrap skirt
I used three of my husband old shirts and lined the skirt with left over fabric from of my daughter first communion dress. It looks great and it was so much fun to plan and sew. I wear the skirt while I teach my sewing classes and when I go to lunches in town. It is fun to wear and comfortable. It is a hit with my young and older students, even teenager love it!!!

Having fun
I had fun learning more about Upcycle I have don alittle bit in the past when it came to doing my childerns clothes (hand me down things) but this was a good idea to find uses for other recycling clothes to add to your wardrobe. Thanks
