Loved the class!
Even though I've been knitting since a child, I could not learn to crochet. I've had many friends & family try to teach me, I've got numerous books with instructions & still I could not learn.

I have a pile of how to crochet books, including "the ladybird book of how to crochet" (ladybird specialise in child elementary education) - still this one needle fabric making technique evaded me. I even got my engineer husband to go through the "how to crochet" references I had access to, to work out what it was I needed to do and then show me (that is how I learnt to knit). Great informative class; could use better editing and less upsell
Good class overall, but I'm wondering if this is one of the first classes Craftsy produced, because the editing is simply not as good as in other videos I've seen. Sometimes Vickie is edited almost mid-sentence and the rock star theme music used in some of the sweeps gets a bit annoying after a while. As others have mentioned, the camera doesn't stay on her stitches long enough or sometimes speeds through them, though we do get to see more close-ups in the last video. Great class, great teacher!
As someone who has tried to learn to crochet before, I was very pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to learn using the class. There were more than a few places where I had to re-watch the video to figure out what I was doing wrong, but eventually I got the hang of it and was super excited to find myself creating granny squares in such a short period of time. I highly recommend this class to anyone that has thought about learning crochet.
