The award for Best Culinary Video Series falls under IACP’s Digital Media Awards category, which celebrates excellence and trendsetters in both traditional and emerging communications technologies. We are thrilled to receive this prestigious honor!
About the class
In A Modern Take on the Mother Sauces, anyone can learn the secrets of cooking authentic French cuisine from the comfort of their own kitchen with interactive, whisk-by-whisk instruction from seven-time James Beard Award-winner James Peterson. Students explore classic and modern sauce-making techniques while mastering the five mother sauces at the heart of French cuisine: espagnole, béchamel, tomato sauce, velouté and hollandaise, plus beurre blanc and mayonnaise.
