Cinnamon Cranberry Chutney by Craftsy member eraug
This sophisticated cranberry chutney, adapted from an old family recipe, is the ideal treat for a traditional or modern Thanksgiving dinner. - 3 cups fresh cranberries (1 bag)
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 3 whole cloves
- 2/3 cup sugar
Rinse cranberries. Bring cranberries, water, vinegar, cinnamon and cloves to a boil. Stir constantly at a gentle rolling boiling for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Let cool. Carefully remove cinnamon stick and cloves before serving. Chutney will thicken as it cools. Adjust sugar to taste.
