Join Frieda Anderson, instructor of Machine Quilting the Home Sweet Home Quilt, in this week’s episode of Stash Busters, and use fabric fuser to create a beautiful block fast.

Download Frieda’s pattern here, and watch now to see how her gorgeous scene comes to life:

Tips:

  1. Bright fabrics make everything pop.
  2. Mixing patterned fabrics can look fabulous.
  3. When fusing remember to use your pressing sheet.

Making your block:

Step 1: Sketch a scene, this will soon become your pattern.

Step 2: Set the scene.

Step 3: Press the fabric.

Step 4: Iron wrong side of fabric to fusible web.

Step 5: Layout your fabric.

Step 6: Trim excess fusible.

Step 7: Time to separate fabrics and remove paper backing.

Step 8: Now your sketch becomes a template.

Step 9: Transfer your complex shapes.
