Get to know your fellow crafters and their triumphs, challenges, and inspiration! It’s time for you to get involved in the crafting conversation on Pinterest, and we want to help make that happen. Join Craftsy’s live chat on Pinterest, Monday March 4th at 6:00 pm EST (3:00 pm PST) for your chance to win a $200 Amazon gift card!

In case you don’t already know, the Pinterest platform is a great way for likeminded crafters to connect- sharing patterns, projects, tips, inspiration, and so much more. Here at Craftsy, we love being part of such a creative and artistic community on Pinterest, and enjoy discussing ideas and aspirations. To help more crafters explore and partake in this growing community, we’ve created a Craftsy Live Pin Chat and we want YOU to be part of it! Let’s all come together to chat about our passion– crafting!

So what exactly is The Craftsy Live Pin Chat, you ask? It is a real time Q&A session. We will ask fun crafting related questions, and we want you to respond. It’s that simple!

Be on the look out as we will pin a new question every 10 minutes; for example, “What is your favorite craft?” Just answer the question in the comment section immediately under the pin, and then repin the image to your favorite board. Having done that, you will be automatically entered to win a $200 Amazon gift card.

We know you’re going to have a blast interacting with and getting to know your fellow crafters, so feel free to comment multiple times on any pinned question if you’d like. Join along, as we unite crafters from around the world and become inspired by everyone’s unique stories! Head here to follow Craftsy on Pinterest so you will be able to see the chat when it begins.

I recently returned to sewing after a number of years away due to work, family, college, etc. Now retired I am teaching myself with the help of books and online classes through Craftsy how to quilt. Although I started sewing at about age 5 or 6 on a treadle and have gone through a few machines in my youth and earlier married years, quilting is so different than anything I have ever done I feel like a kid trying to master a pencil or a new toy. I am so grateful for the information exchange within the different levels of ability. Thank you Craftsy for offering and maintaining these outlets for me and others like me.

    1. Rebecca says:

      Hi Sandy,

      Great question!

      - First (if you don’t already), follow Craftsy on Pinterest so you can see our crafting questions when we pin them. You can find us here:

      - At 6pm EST TONIGHT, just log on to your Pinterest account and be on the look out for our pins. Each pin will have a different crafting questions, so for example one might be, “What’s your favorite craft?” All you need to do is answer the question in the comment section of the pin and then repin to your favorite board.

      - Having done that, you will be automatically entered to win a $200 Amazon gift card.

Hopefully this clears up any confusion. If you have any other questions, please feel free to post again. Looking forward to hearing your responses tonight on Pinterest! Happy Crafting!

Posso solo dire con sollievo che ho trovato qualcuno che sa realmente di cosa sta parlando! Lei sicuramente sa come portare un problema alla luce e renderlo importante. Altre persone hanno bisogno di leggere questo e capire questo lato della storia.
