New Craftsy Features!
Hey Craftsy Community, I’m Jenn, Director of Community Relations here at Craftsy. As you know everything we do at Craftsy is to improve your learning experience and inspire you to create! We’re excited to let you know about these recent site improvements we’ve made in response to your feedback. As a company, we know that it’s important to build features to better our community, so we’re always listening to our members’ suggestions for direction. We’re proud to let you about a select few of the many site features we’ve introduced in the past year thanks to your feedback.
You might have noticed, we released Closed Captioning for more than 70 classes, meaning not only can you follow along word by word, but you can search classes for any keyword, phrase, or technique you may be looking for.
We’ve also introduced the Wishlist. Now you can easily save and store all of your favorite classes, patterns, or projects on Craftsy. Just click the “Save to Wishlist” button on any product page and we’ll keep track of all your wishes! And if you want to not-so-subtly suggest a gift you’d enjoy, you can even share your Wishlist.
Your friends and family will be happy to know that you can now “gift” any class or workshop to anyone as well- just click that lovely “Buy as a Gift” button on any class page. When you give your best friend the gift of a class, you can both enjoy taking it together.
And last but not least, we created a shopping cart! While it took a lot of engineering power to build, we knew this was something you asked for, so we were sure to create it. You can now add classes, workshops, and physical goods to your cart for one easy checkout experience.
We hope you’ve enjoyed using these tools as much as we’ve enjoyed creating them. Stay tuned as we’ll continue to update you throughout the year about new features that we hope will make your Craftsy experience even better.
