Project Spotlight: Holiday Cakelets

Here’s a great way to celebrate the Holidays. Or, they make great gifts! Either way, we’re loving the idea of Holiday “cakelets”, or mini-cakes. And some of you are, too, judging by these wonderful Craftsy projects!

It’s difficult to tell if those “cakelets” are single serving cakes we used to call petit fours or are they for 2 or 4 or 6 servings. Years ago Corning made a small pie plate that I still have. It’s probably about 5″ in diameter. Sur la Table carries a metal one that is comparable in size and I have made for smaller serving pies.
