Knitted Shawls: Check Out These Inspired
Projects from Our Craftsy Community

Shawls are beautiful and versatile accessories that add elegance and style to your wardrobe. Throwing a lace shawl on top of any everyday outfit suddenly rejuvenates your regular look with subtle hints of romance. Shawl designs can go from deceptively easy to quite complex, and cover everything in between. Here at Craftsy we’re all about highlighting our members who constantly surprise and impress us with their beautiful creations!

Here are some examples of shawls that Craftsy members have created!
Knitting Shawls

LEFT: The Beeton Shawl created by Craftsy member laylock was made with aran weight yarn. When asked what inspired her to knit such a beautiful shawl, laylock replied “A counterpane square in Mrs. Beeton’s Book of Needlework inspired this shawl. I like to think if she were alive now, this is just the sort of shawl she would be wearing.” We agree laylock!
RIGHT: The Triangular Shetland Style Shawl is a lovely accessory made by Craftsy member Madelines. This delicate shawl was created using a cashmere and merino yarn blend.

BOTTOM: The Legato Shawl made by Craftsy member Tabetha is a wonderful example of deceptively easy construction! According to Tabetha, “the stunning cables look intimidating, but are really easy.”
