Katie, Craftsy’s Instructor & Designer Liaison, will be leading a chat on free resources you can use to gain marketing exposure and sell more patterns—like Craftsy’s fee-free marketplace, social media sharing, and basic SEO tips.
The Quick-Stitch Challenge
Friday 9/28 and Saturday 9/29: 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m.
Sunday 9/30: 10 a.m.; 2 p.m. Stitch-Off
Challenge Stage, rows 600/700
The Quick-Stitch Challenge is an exciting live competition right in the middle of the ASE action. Five contestants at a time will compete in 75-minute challenges to complete a fashion, home décor, or craft sewing project. The winner of each of the 7 challenges will advance to the Stitch-Off at 2 p.m. on Sunday. The Stitch-Off winner will receive 10 free Craftsy classes and the title of 2012 Quick-Stitch Champion!
This is the 19th annual American Sewing Expo, with more than 100 seminars, 115 exhibitors, and special events hosted by industry-leading professionals like Craftsy instructors Kenneth D. King, Susan Khalje, Gretchen Hirsch, and Angela Wolf (class coming soon!). ASE also coincides with the Association of Sewing and Design Professionals’ conference this year, so look for even more fashion shows and sewing superstars at this year’s event. See you there!
