Jumpstart your cake-decorating adventure, or brush up on integral skills as Joshua discusses cake basics and gives you two different techniques for covering and embellishing a three-tiered cake in buttercream.

In this class, Joshua shows how to create sophisticated cakes inspired by couture garments, adding a high-fashion flare to cake decorating. This class features three main fashion-inspired looks: fondant lace, quilted fondant, and fondant paneling. Learn how to add texture to your fondant so it truly does emulate fabric! Joshua also covers finishing techniques based on fashionable accessories, including rice paper flowers and luster-dusted sugar pearls.

Modern Buttercream is a beginner cake decorating classes that will teach you many of the basic “prerequisites” for some of our other classes. Hope this helps and you are looking forward to this free class!
Can a link to Modern Buttercream be posted as I can’t see to find it in food craft or cake decorating?
