I would love to sign up for the mystery knit-along. I have a problem with it. I am retired and I won’t have the money til the 1st of July when I get paid. Will I be able to join then.

Unfortunately, the last day to register for the July Mystery Knit-Along is June 21st. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. That being said, the Knit-Along project itself will be available to the public August 1st. That means you will be able to make the project; however, it will no longer be a mystery at that time. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask!

I am very tempted to join the July Mystery Knitalong; however, I would like to know the degree of difficulty it will employ. I am between a beginner and intermediate — and I am not a fast knitter!

The July Mystery Knit-Along has an intermediate level of difficulty. Once you gain access to the Knit-Along, which opens July 1st, you will be able to view it as many times as you’d like, whenever you’d like. So even if you aren’t the fastest knitter, you will be able to go at your own pace! If you have any other questions, feel free to post them!
Is this mystery project for begginers or is it more for advanced knitters? I am just starting out and only know the basics, knit , purl , increase , decrease . I would love to sign up but do not want to get left behind and not be able to finish the project if the stitches get too complicated . Please let me know thanks. Also I live in Quebec , Canada, would I get the yarn on time ??

Unfortunately, we are temporarily suspending international shipping. Despite the fact that many packages get where they are intended, a significant percentage do not; or if they do, the transit time from the US is unacceptably long. Lost shipments result in poor experiences for you, our customers.
We are working hard to find partners across the globe who can carry your packages safely, securely, and deliver them on time. However, until we get a better system set up we will be temporarily suspending all international shipments outside the US. Unfortunately I don’t have a more specific time frame for you for when we’ll find a better solution.
We see this as a short-term set back that will allow us to achieve an excellent long-term solution. We love having be a part of the community and will do everything we can to find a solution.

Hello craftsy, I just for the 1st time noticed you offered a knit along. That is so great. Unfortunally I will not be able to join this one, but I’d be interested to know when you post the new notice for August. And thanks again for offering things such as this for those of us who want to learn to become great knitters.
I understand that the pattern and yarn are both to be a mystery. That said, can you tell me the fiber content of the yarn – as that is the only factor holding me back from signing up. There are certain fibers with which I can not work.

Do we need to have it finished by a certain date? I am extremely slow at knitting not sure if I can do this on a deadline…
Once you purchase the Mystery Knit-Along and it opens July 1st, you’ll be able to view it whenever you’d like, as many times as you’d like. So even if you’re not the fastest of knitters, you can complete the knit-along on your own time! If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask!

I just got an e-mail that my supplies for the mystery KAL were shipped yesterday! (It’s going to take five days to go less than ten miles but oh well!) I’m very excited to see what arrives on the 29th!

Hi, just a question please. I received an email today that my yarn had just shipped and the “estimated delivery” will be July 3rd. Since the KAL begins on July 1 will there be time for me to be able to catch up? This is the first time I have participated in a workshop with Craftsy and just wondered how that would work out. Thank you in advance for answering my question.

So sorry that your yarn seemed to ship a little late! Let’s hope it arrives early. In any case the Knit-Along is your’s to begin whenever you want, so you can create the project based on your schedule and timeline. Once you are enrolled you can go back to any lesson at any time. So even though you might not have your yarn by July 1st, it’s not a problem to start a couple days late because everyone will be completing this on their own schedule.

I am a very impatient person. I signed up and honestly forgot about the KAL, then the beautiful yarn showed up yesterday. Now I’m anxiously awaiting Sunday, tick tock, tick tock. I am really looking forward to this project. Loving the yarn!!
