The Mother’s Day Project Contest: We Have A Winner!

This past Sunday The Mother’s Day Project Contest closed, and I am happy to announce that we have a winner! We’ve spent the week tallying hearts to determine the winning project. With nearly 140 participants, there were so many wonderful Mother’s Day projects uploaded! Craftsy members submitted projects in every single category, including our newest one, Food Craft!

So here it is, ladies and gentlemen, the winner of the 2012 Mother’s Day Project Contest is: Craftsy member Korissa2, and her project, Mother’s Day Contest: Handprint Quilt. Korissa2′s quilt won an impressive 52 hearts!

Korissa2's contest-winning project, Handprint Quilt.

Congratulations, Korissa2! For taking the gold in this contest, she has earned a free online Craftsy class. To everyone else, thank you so much for participating in this fun contest!

I love this. It is so whimsical but also something to be kept for a lifetime.

I am making a quilt for my 3 grandsons that will be personalized and hope that it turns out half this well.

Congratulations.

I love this!! Some years back my cub scouts did something similar with handprints in paint on an apron as a gift for me & I still use that apron! Congrats to the winner!
